Standard render angle bead provides a straight arris that will not easily crack and reinforces the plasterwork where it is most needed. The expanded metal wings provide an excellent mechanical key for most types of plaster. The bead is simple and quick to fix by the plasterer. On most backgrounds this can be carried out by using plaster dabs at suitable centres. Where the bead has to be fixed to the metal lath, it is recommended that they should be joined by wire. Where cutting is required, this should be carried out using a hacksaw and tin snips. If a bead has to be joined, then galvanised nails should be used.
